What is spyder injector

Won't start unless I poura
small about of fuel in
injector(carburetor) or
whatever it is under hood.
1998 chevy Silverado 4wd

I'd suspect the fuel pump or regulator has failed. Test for fuel pressure to make sure it's the pump.
