1973 holden ute

Hi all,
first timer here for me, I have need of help i'm doing up my dad's 73 holden ute and the passenger side door won't open, I'm guessing that with all the rain we had the catch is stuck can anyone give me some ideas to get it open please.

if you can get the door panel off(if it has one) you may be able to see if linkage has come off the door mechanism. if it is still attached it my just need a good jar.try spraying lock with wd40 or Pb blaster. Good Luck
