Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Happy New Years! I am currently looking for a new
vehicle to purchase. I live in Texas right now and
will be moving to Northern California (Bay Area) in
the next few weeks. I want to purchase a 2019
AWD vehicle but cannot decide between RAV4,
CRV or Sportage. I am currently a Toyota owner
(Corolla) and my boyfriend owns a 2004 Toyota
Tacoma with 200k+ miles. I know Toyota is a very
reliable brand, and they make long lasting vehicles.
However, after some research I cannot decide
between the three. I am looking for a vehichle with
cargo space because I plan to drive to California
with my two pit bulls. All three vehicles have great
cargo space. I know the CRV has great MPG but is
it reliable? How frequent does it really need
maintenance? Do Honda vehicles last past 300k+
miles?

Any comments and suggestions are appreciated!

Thank you!

I'm sure you'd be happy with either a Rav 4 or CRV, I'd avoid Hyundai or the smaller Honda HRV. PS: leave the California ideals on the left coast. (:

Excellent point Jim. Non CA residents can bring in 49 state cars but they could not sell them for in state use.
