Bill of Sale Documents
What kind of documents for a bill of sale are provided for a private party sale? Or is it recommended that the seller has the buyer sign a bill of sale when signing over the title and picking up the vehicle?

It's usually the bill for sale and title but car history is nice too.

Ok, so there is a bill of sale and title transfer that is handled through carguru, or is that done privately between the seller and buyer? Your website advertises "Dedicated support with all your paperwork from Bill of Sale to Title Transfer." So I am trying to understand how a private sale would work with a listing on carguru. It's done privately amongst the seller and purchaser, with dealers it's different.

Ok thank you. But as a private sale, can funds still be paid/received electronically...as advertised on your website?

For that particular question you would have to send a message thru the contact us button at the bottom of this page.
I was told by CarGurus: "To answer you question, yes title is transferred electronically by CarGurus through our third party partner AutoPay."
