Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi - I have a 2016 Nissan Altima 2.5 SR. I bought
this care back in August 2016. Late last year, I have
noticed when I come to a complete stop, and press
the gas pedal, the car is having acceleration issues.
I would say it takes 5-10 seconds before the car
reacts to me putting my foot to the pedal. This
becomes dangerous. I would turn the car off and
then on, it would “reset” back to normal. This
problem usually happens 40 mins into driving. If I
do not turn the car on and off, the issues gets
worse. My RPMs would increase without changing
gears. Any idea what this can be?

Yes. It was a transmission issue. They replaced the transmission body, car works fine now. Luckily my warranty covered the expenses.
