Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2007 Ford Freestar.. Vehicle engine will periodically shut off while driving
without any warning and no check engine light, no codes. Car starts up right
away right after while still moving and put in neutral.  New transmission was
installed previously and was rechecked later by installer, new alternator and
new camshaft senor where also installed.  Vehicle has shut off once on
slightly bumpy road surface and once simply turning into a wide curving
road. Mechanic can not figure out problem. Otherwise Vehicle runs really
well.  please help.....

Sounds like a wrong set of spark-plugs. Back in 1972 I took my 1969 Opel GT to a place called Tune-up Masters. They performed a Tune-up, then traveling approximately 65 mph. the engine died and no matter if I shifted the car to a lower gear I could not restart it. But when I came to a complete stop and taking 1 of the spark-plugs out it would start right up then I would do it again and same thing would happen. I called my dad since he was a Mechanic and he said it was the wrong spark-plugs. After I changed them myself I did not have anymore problems.
