Can I put a 2005 f150 transmission in a 2007 f150 ?

part numbers bro u need part numbers 4R75W or 4R70W for 2005 a 2007 has only 4R75W 5.4 4.6 05 both optional 4.6 07 only 4R75W 4.2 05 both 4.2 07 only 4R75W so differences hey use different output shaft ring gears. this can mess up the shifting points and your speedometer but the shift points cause fibers and metal wear that means rebuild so look at your 07 transmission id plate a 4r75W is a 4r75W doesn't matter what year make or model it came out of
