By "huge amount of money", is it more than you were asking? Watch out for a common scam, where they offer to pay via check (even a certified check) with an extra amount for "shipping expenses", then direct you to forward those shipping expenses to a third party. What happens is the check bounces and the amount you forwarded is the payoff for the scammers. Back to your question, what happens if you click accept is it puts you in contact with the buyer so you can hammer out a deal.

What is a huge amount of money on a $5,000 car? If the offer is over the listing amount and the prospective buyer has not seen the vehicle in person or had it inspected by a disinterested 3rd party I would say it is a scam and they are trying to steal your vehicle.
