1985 c10 305 spark issue.

Ok. I have a 1985 chevy c10 305 that will not
put out spark. I have replaced everything
electrical wise under the distributor
including the cap. Also have a brand new
ignition switch. One day it will start and run.
Another it won't put out spark. Distributor is
getting plenty of power but not putting it out.   
Think it might be a ground wire but am
completely stumped. I have taken it apart
and put it back together 10 times already.
Nothing is broken or loose. Any ideas or am
I missing something.
