I can not find the front yoke driveshaft part for my 2000 silverado 4,3 5 speed extended cab 2 wheel drive truck. The gm part # for the yoke is 12472413. Can anyone help me find this? If I could buy a whole driveshaft I would do that if anyone knows where I can find one.

If my link above doesn't work just remove the "space" before the "J" in joint. This crummy website often puts extra spaces in web addresses that causes them not to work.

Thank you for your answers but the part is no longer made and all of the salvage yards I have tried have not had it.

So my GM part number was not available throughout the country. I checked all across the country for a used drive shaft too and I did find the front shaft at Vintage Auto Parts 877- 846-8243 for $860.00. However one of the dealers I spoke with gave me the idea to check with a drive line shop. I then talked to Troy at Tom Woods Custom Drive Shafts in Ogden Utah 1-877-497-4238. Troy there had so much knowledge about the yokes and shafts and I have one coming now for only $95.00. Yoke fit perfectly, they also had others in stock. My Chevy part may be rare, but maybe not as rare as most people looking at just the GM part number thought. Thank you all for the help. Problem solved.
