Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Whenever I search for a truck with a cap, shell, camper top, topper it always says that there are no results, even though there very well could be a vehicle with a cap on the first page previous to adding the keyword search, mind you I'm only adding one of these key words not all the ones I listed; it would seem that Cargurus keyword search is kaput, aka a POS. Please CG fix this atrocity.

CarGurus search IS a POS. I would move along to another site.

"Got any advice on which sites have a working keyword search?" Cars.com works for me. Be sure to select best match. Not perfect, but still better than not working at all.

One of the very best car sites is www.carmax.com for doing searches. The downside is that you have to be near one of their locations.

Looks to me like the Gurus have no answers or cares. Won't shop here again!

Us "Gurus" are volunteers and I really don't care for the website, but I do like to participate in the forums because I like to help people. I personally believe that CarGurus is a great idea that is not perfectly executed. I personally would never shop here. Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

The keyword should work properly, especially if i am searching from something not so rare as a truck with a cap. I haven't found a search engine that the keyword function works well. I'd wager a guess that if Gurus actually fixed this (big) issue a lot more people would be willing to use your engine; as I can't be the only one frustrated with the keyword search and it's failings.
