I have a 1994 Chevy Lumina Euro 3.1...I have a stalling issue while driving..I drop it into neutral and it restarts..I replaced the ignition control module and it has the same issue. I have hooked it up to my scanner no engine light and no codes...but on my trouble shooting guide I found a "PROM 6551" this came back to my symptoms but no repair guidance. Help? car has 119,000

so it runs fine in park and neutral but stall in gear when warm? It's possible the transmission torque converter is locking up at idle. Check the TQ lock solenoid.

Hi Tom ...no in park it will stall...it may take up to an hour in idle before it will shut off...restart there is no problem with that ...and when it stalls driving Thats when I put it in neutral while still rolling and turn the key again to start .... This car has a automatic transmission...Thx T
