2003 Sebring 2.7 oil light goes on at idle at 500 RPMs 750 it goes off

The computer controls the idle speed. Have you tried a new oil pressure sender?

If it were mine I would change the oil and filter using the proper grade of oil and change the oil pressure sender. If that doesn't fix it I would have the oil pressure measured with a mechanical gauge.
