what if the car im trying to purchase is worth less than my trade in?

currently have a ram 1500 big horn (leather package).  truck is more than i
currently need and would like to switch to a more gas friendly vehicle.  Hemi
V8 is a beast!

Maybe the seller will pay you the difference. If not sell it and then buy what you want.
