1999 Yukon won't start

I ran out of gas in my 99 Yukon put 3 gallons in and
drove it home like nothing was wrong,  woke up the
next morning and now won't start

The truck does crank and the pump is working, the up has been replaced about 6 months ago, the thing throwing me off is I put a few gallons in it and it drove to my house without issue and it's about 15 miles, also I'm thinking filter because I don't think it's been changed
