Brake lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 Chevy Lumina sedan that the
brake lights and left turn signal aren't working. I
can't afford to have the turn signal lever
replaced so I wanted to know if the bottom
brake light wires can be spliced in with the rear
window brake light? The relay switch behind
the brake peddle has been replaced

I doubt if all bulbs burnt at the same time. Most likely is a blown fuse, loose or broken wire or the turn signal lever, that controls all these components.
