Question type: General

I have a 2018 JKU. I've had it 2 weeks and some idiot at my
job hit the bumper and left. My friend has a bumper from
his 2012 he said I could have. Will it fit?

Jeep?

If you are referring to the Wrangler the front bumpers will probably interchange but no guarantees that there won't be some styling differences.

Yes I have a 2018 Wrangler JKU and his bumper is from a 2012 Wrangler JKU.

Compare them and see but why don't you use your insurance and get a new bumper?

USAA told me if i go through them...my rates would likely go up. Even though it was a hit and run

That does not sound right. I have never had my rates go up when I was not at fault. Your brand new Jeep is worth keeping up. Don't let it go to the dogs now, wait until it is 20 years old to install used parts. Anyway - Good luck to you.
