Can someone please tell me what gears were
factory in a 1964 first generation Chevy  my wife
bought it for me for Christmas just checking
haven't got to climb under it yet . supposedly they
told wife they were 411s but thinking might b373s
can someone please help.thanks

3:08, 3:36, 3:55, 3:70, 4:11, 4:56 - are all the factory gear ratios available between 1955-64 for car rear ends. Check if yours still has a metal tag on it, should give ratio.

Might be a stupid question but the all were posi trac is this correct and if it is and a twelve bolt are all the gears readily available and easy to swap out.
