It's a newly installed convertible top the edge puffed slightly in the middle around the edge in the front some blogs say the sun will smooth it out

Vinyl tops will smooth out in warm weather. If the shop/dealer claims this will fix it, get it in writing. What make/model/year car?

The photos I looked up all have smooth fronts like all the other convertibles I have owned.

It's not very noticeable I can tell up close its just not a smooth line straight across the front it's like a slight puff

Without a photo we can't do anything more for you. Good luck.

Actually put it like this it's not as flat in the middle as it is by the ends where the bracket lock down the top
