Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have been looking at some used cars to purchase, and am
choosing between 2.
2015 Honda Civic: 14k miles, $12,700
2017 Nissan Altima: 15k miles, $14,300
I like the Altima, but it has no service records on carfax
except one which was just done at the dealership where I'm
shopping. I'm concerned that no service for 15,000 miles
may have caused some permanent damage, and their
policy doesn't allow to check with a mechanic (they do their
own inspection). The civic on the other hand, has been well
maintained and serviced regularly. Which is the better value
and better bet to last me the longest?

Civic will be the better car and reliability should also be better. Nissans CVT transmissions have been troublesome.

Your welcome and good luck with the "new to you" car if you purchase it.

And what do you think of the civic? Considering the price and how many miles its got on it? Also the fact that its the older model
