Couple things to check. Do the headlights come on, if so are they bright? If so, battery is probably good. Does it click or make any noise when you try to start? If there is fast clicking, battery is low. If it clicks once, then all the lights go out, probably just a bad battery terminal connection. A volt meter would help you determine the problem. If lights are good but nothing happens when you turn the key, try moving the park lever to N. Could be a neutral safety switch.
