2004 Blazer Transmission

I have a 2004 Blazer LS 4.3 4WD,
transmission is going bad. Has no reverse
but will drive forward. Rpm's get real high
before it will shift gears. Went out with no
warning, ran fine & then...no reverse. What
vehicles & years transmission are
interchangeable?
