Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was installing a hot wire off my battery with an in
line fuse yesterday aND accidentally grounded it
for a split second. Once that happened,  I stopped
and unplugged the fuse before going any further. I
got the wire ran throughout the car and now the car
wont start. I have a 04 explorer. When I turn the key
to the second notch, ( where the gauges and
everything comes on) a constant click appears
from under the hood. This happens before I try to
turn the car over. Just when the key is in running
position.  The click is constant and it sounds to be
right above my transmission. Help! I check all of
my fuses and switch all of my relays. Still a
constant click and starter does nothing  :/
