Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my 07 Tahoe started reading 0 oil
pressure and oil light came on. So I took it
to the mechanics and had and oil sending
unit put in. But still doing the same thing.
But pressure check shows I have oil
pressure and there are no engine noises
showing signs of no oil pressure. Anyone
have any other ideas ???

There is also an oil pressure "switch" on your vehicle, the switch communicates with the ecu whereas the sending unit is for the gauge. A continuity test should be done on the wire for your sending unit in my opinion
