2004 Buick Century power outlet

Question type: General

I recently picked up a 2004 Buick Century. According to the owner's manual, there's supposed to be a 12-volt power outlet, "On the console, near the floor, on the passenger side." I called all over the inside of that vehicle and I cannot find this power outlet. Can someone clue me in as to where exactly it is?

If the outlet was an option you car may not have one.

it is tucked up under the glove box you will have to remove the carpeted panel that has the plastic push in typed screws, then it will be marked 12v power (or drop source auxiliary power) And most importantly it is only a harness! you will have to buy the actual socket
