Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will a rearend from a 85 suburban fit in my
05 Silverado extended cab 1500 4x4 the
ratio is the same and brake set up is same?

I doubt it would bolt in. I also doubt the brakes are the same. Chances are the 2005 has rear disk brakes and the old one would have drums.
