Any car--give or take--you want to change the oil roughly 5000 miles for conventional oil and 5000-10000 miles for synthetic oil. Some people are more meticulous and change every 3000miles. This is assuming normal, 15-25k/year driving. If car only sees a few thousand miles per year you're going to want to do it once a year anyway to remove condensation from the oil.

We always say 3500 miles for non-synthetic and 5000 miles full synthetic. Like said above if you drive less than that a year, once a year. I'll add your eyes & nose play a huge role. The darker the oil to black then runny looking the worse it needed an oil change way back, you went past the window and engine is dying. If its saturated with fuel/water it will have a different smell, if it smells burned, its already past an oil change. My personal rule of thumb is never let the oil get darker to black oil no mater the miles under the recommended. The lighter the better.
