Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car won't start all the time. Starter relay is fine as
well as starter. The battery is a replacement and
only 675 cca. Will that keep it from starting? When
I turn the key it clicks once then when I let go it
clicks again. I'm not a car guy and don't know what
any of this means

Could also be a parasitic drain. Check your open circuit battery voltage next time it happens and see if you are losing power. Then to check for a parasitic drain with key off pull out fuses one at a time and check the amperage draw with a multimeter by probing the pins. If you have more than 0.03 amp then that circuit is at fault be aware though that when you open the door to check your interior fuses you will need to tape the door pin closed or when you test the courtesy light circuit it will read high amperage as the circuit is hot.
