2006 Chevy Silverado Rear axle assembly replacement

I am replacing the rear axle assembly on 4wd/crew
cab silverado with 3.73 gear ratio. I have
inexpensive access to one from an extended cab.
Any ideas if this will fit/work?

What gear ratio does the extended cab have? You'll need a 3.73 rear again, unless you plan on changing the gears and you just need the rear axle housing. I know that some Silverado's had an option for bigger brakes, so you would want make sure that your brakes are the same too.
