Im tryen to replace my sway bar bushings on my
2012 malibu how do i drop the sub frame

The sway bar one end at a time, it goes side to side under the sub-frame (not the sub-frame), toward the front end. Not the sub-frame itself that the engine sits in that drops down, it stays in place. Your not re-moving the engine from under the car, the sway bar links is a 15minute job each side.
