Monsoon stereo

Question type: Car Customization

Can anyone help me. I have a 2000 Grand Am GT
with everythng factory. It has the factory Delco
stereo in it NOT monsoon. I recently bought a
2004, Grand AM GT exactly like mine except has
the Monsoon system in it. The car is beautiful but
the previous owner locked down the motor. So Igot
it for parts. My question is can I take the complete
monsoon system out of the 04 and put it i the 2000
. I hve already takin the stereo an speakers and
amp out. But the amp has a different  plug than the
2000 delco amp. Speakers will fit they have same
plug in everything. Is there a way to just use the
Monsoon amp?

Count the wires to the both plugs for the amp if it's the same you can cut them off and rewire it or have it rerun professionally
