Had my 2002 Ford Exploee Tranmittiob fixed. When
I got home it made a bang noise in reverse The
mechanics. said fords have that problem and to
bring it in if it gets worse. Is he bs me?

Fords do not have that problem. I have two from that era that don't bang and I have driven a 2003 Explorer that had no "bang".
