Got new battery for ford expedition but my battery
light still on any help on that.

Check to see if the serpentine belt is still on and working properly. Next step is to have the charging system tested. The alternator or the wiring may have an issue.

You can check alternator voltage with a voltmeter on the battery and car running. See if it is below or above range of your vehicle.
