I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3 L-I recently got my motor replaced and every since I got it back while it's at idle it's rough and low, sounds like a misfire. It goes from 500 to 300 and often makes the truck shake like it's barley running. It does it prolly every 3/4 times after I crank it. After I run it sometimes it idles good if I don't kill it, but not every time. The RPMs decrease very slowly after releasing the gas whether at idle or running 70. If it's cold and I crank it and try to drive off it often hesitates or stalls for about a second or two when I put it in drive and try to take off. But after I get going it has plenty of power. I Smell a slight Gas fume while it's running. And I can also unplug the MAF sensor while it's running and it idles great until I plug it back in. Any Suggestions?
