Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car will drop down in the back when I let it sit for
about 30 minutes to an hour, but only sometimes.
Then it will go 4 or 5 days and it won't drop down in
the back. It's on again off again. It can't be a leak
because it would drop everytime. Compressor was
changed last year and works fine. Is it the sensor?

I've seen all kinds of things cause these to loose pressure, solenoid valves intermittently sticking, level sensor sending incorrect signal, line fittings worn just right to where one theme they hold air the next time they don't. It can take hours with a basting brush and soapy water to locate any external leaks, and you need someone that has the tools to run separate valving checks to make sure they are sealing. Not so easy to track down unless you get lucky.
