Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 Ford F250 7.3 diesel. For some
reason the headlights quit working about a month
ago. When I pull out the switch on my Dash to turn
on the lights the low beams and the high beams do
not kick on. But I can Flash my brights by pulling
back the lever on the steering column but they
don't stay on if I push it backwards to keep my
brights on. I got a new switch for the dash put it in
and it didn't solve the problem it just drains my
batteries super fast and the switch gets really hot
to the touch. Anyone else experience this problem?
I've checked all the fuses too and they are all good

Hot wiring means a short in the circuits, wierd that no fuse has blown. Check the relay!
