Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OK I have a 1990 350 chevy tbI... it is running only
at 15 psi on the Guage which I believe to be
correct. When the engine is first started it runs well
no real issues. When it warms up the oil pressure
drops slightly. When I am driving I have no issues
but after driving for about 20 min if I stop the
check gauges light comes on and my oil pressure
drops dramatically.even more so when I hAve the
headlights on or use the turn signal please help
with this.... I don't think it's my oil pump I never
hear any knocking or ticking the truck will stall
when this occurs if I don't press the throttle

Oil Pressure Sender / Switch may need better electrical connection or is bad or going bad. Are you using a oil that is thin like 0w or 5w, may try thicker oil and make sure it is not low level.
