Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can i replace a 2013 3.5 EcoBoost with a 2015 3.5
EcoBoost in a F150 with limited complications?...i
realize the intake manifold would need fitted off
the old engine...bolt pattern is the same

I would suspect that there were changes over the two year period. Best to consult a Ford dealer on this one. Good luck getting a dealer to help though.

I thought the eco-boost engines were bullet proof at least that is what Ford claims. What happened?
