What's a good option?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi all, shopping for a used car and can't
come to a decision and unfortunately there's
a serious lack of manual 4x4s anywhere
near me, or even just a 4x4 that isn't 20
years old.

Current options (unless they sell)

2011 Great Wall x240
59,000km ( all x240s have such low km
which concerns me)
Great condition and only $6500

Mitsubishi outlander 2007
$7500 at only 68000km

I'm looking for a starter 4x4 for beginner
camping that I can still use for every day as I
have a child. I've heard many awful things
about the x240 but that was for the price of
new, is it worth it for this price?
Both cars have low safety features but
they're still safer than the much older car
I've been driving and even if it feels cheap to
someone really in to cars.. it'd still be an
upgrade from my rust-bucket that smells of
cat pee.
I've been going back and forth for days
really just want an outsiders input.

I would go with the outlander, chinese vehicles still need a massive amount of catching up to do in product quality.
