Will an 02 avalanche motor and transmission fit in a 07
Silverado ?

You will likely have to transfer the wiring harness / controller along with it, since it is an earlier generation. Also the motor mounts would be the same as a Suburban and Yukon XL. The Silverado possibly has different mounts for both engine and trans.
