Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2007 Tundra 5.7.mV8. When I turn the key in crank over 4-
5 times then fires. Sounds idntical to a low charge on
battery. I changed battery (same) starter is 6 months old
alternator runs car when battery is disconnected while
running. What else should I look at? I also checked
ground at fender and cleaned and now am checking
ground at block.....all other electrical runs fine and does
not appear weak.

Don't disconnect batt. cables when the car is running , use a multi tester to check batt. and alt. Scan for codes even if the light ain't on .
