delete old listing

To close and remove your listing from search results: 1. Log into the site and click on "My Account" at the top of the page. 2. Click on the "My Listings" tab within your Garage. 3. Click the “Close Listing” button.  If you are using our mobile app, please go to “Menu” and click on the “My Listings” tab. Select the listing you would like to remove and then click on “Edit Listing”. Here you will find an option to close your ad.

To re-open a listing you have previously listed on CarGurus: 1. Sign in and click on "My Account" at the top of the page. 2. Click the car within your garage that you had previously listed for sale. 3. If the car is listed as "Owned", please click on the car and then on the little gear icon to the right, which will drop down an option to "Edit Car". Please select "Edit Car" and then "Own" under "Association" on the next page, and click "Save". 4. Click "Details" 5. Click the gray "Reopen Listing" button.  If you are using our mobile app, please go to “Menu” and click on the “My Listings” tab. Select the listing you would like to re-activate and then click on “Reopen Listing”.

Dec 2020 update: from iPhone xmax 14 iOS, it wont let you cancel it from the apple app. It also didn't let me cancel it from my PCs chrome browser. then from safari on iphone, it kept saying some sort of "time out" error from "too many redirects" (and yes i have pop up blocker off on safari settings) I had to trick safari on my phone by first signing into google with the google account i used to sign in to car gurus, then google searched "cargurus" and then in the search results, i clicked on the company page. It finally signed me in to cargurus where i found the manage listing option, then the drop down option of "close" listing and it took me to a survey page and I confirmed "close" the ad. App should do this. app seems to be only good for searching for cars to buy, not for selling and managing your listing.
