Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2002 chevy Silverado battery light came on and my fuel
guage, temperature guage, 4x4 selector, and blower
motor quit. I swapped dash clusters and it still did the
same thing

Wow, you went through a lot of labor pulling dash. Did you test alternator and battery? My thought from your description is that alternator is bad reducing power to run those things.

I put a new alternator on it and thought it may still be the problem so I swapped one off of my other truck and still didn't fix the problem all charging and battery check out good

I have every once in a while the battery light will go off and everything will work for maybe 5 minutes and then go right back to battery light on and nothing works

I think it is time to do a voltage drop test on all the wires from battery to starter and battery to alternator and check all body and engine grounds. There are several grounds a car uses that go through the alternator body. High resistance wires could be causing low charging or no charging. Or bad grounds.

Watch a YouTube video by chrisfix called how to check an alternator. He points out how to check these ground points and the alternator also. Good video.
