Best SUV for under $5000

I'm a single mother, on a fixed income. I'm looking
for a preowned/used SUV with AWD, that's reliable.
What is the best make/model that matches my
criteria & the repairs/parts/ maintaince aren't too
expensive? I'm looking to buy a used car(suv) for
less then $5,000....Do you think that there's any
used suv's that are in nice condition mechanically
or would I be better off, financing a preowned car &
make a down payment & monthly payments? I'm
not looking to spend over $6,500 if I finance. I've
got no male family members or friends that know
anything about cars & need a car that's not going
to break down,etc. (Within the next 4-6mths) after
buying it Thank you

I would go with a 2010 Honda CR-V

Yep I agree or a Toyota RAV4. I doubt you can purchase one for 5K

LIFTMEUP & Guru9FSV8 Thank u very much for taking the time to help me out&give me your opinion I honestly have been thinking I want to get a Honda because i knowvthey are good cars & last a long time if u do all of the necessary maintaince. I'll keep u posted
