Jumping a big Durango

So my boyfriends car battery is dead he has a 2005
Durango v6 I have a little 2000 Honda Civic lx in
perfect condition (just got its monthly check up
done ) could I jump his dead battery or would it
suck the life out of mine ?

You can try jumping it but if your battery is small it might not work. Having good jumper cables with #2 wire will help a lot. Cheap cables have thick insulation and little wire which won't carry enough amperage to start a car. I do not think it will damage your battery, just make sure not to cross polarity!
