Engine Problems and idling

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 94 f150 4.9 I6 I replaced the head gasket,
and put in new slave cylinder, radiator, along with
some odd and end wiring fixes. Also has new
plugs. Its idling funny and when I go to put it in
overdrive I lose all speed and power... it has the
Mazda 5 in it. Does anyone know why it would do
this? It also whistles at high rpm.
