Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car ran fine early in the day, went out that
evening and when I went to start it nothing
happened. When i turn the key to start the car,  the
lights and radio and such come on but the motor
doesn't even crank. Checked the battery and it is
good, the starter was replaced 2 months ago.
When i cross jump the starter it engages but the
motor still doesn't crank. It is the 2.5l V6.

Lots of possibilities... do you hear a click? Starter relay? Crank sensor? Bad battery? Yes battery has to be tested under load. Bad starter to begin with? I once put 5 bad starters on a car before I demanded them to test number 6 before walking out of Autozone. Duralast parts are trash! Back to subject, fuses and relays? Voltage drop test wires to starter battery and alternator and all grounds. Battery terminals clean and free of corrosion and tight? Just to name a few.
