Why does my exhaust manifold glow red when the
car has only been up the road a few Ks, it also has
trouble gaining power in low revs. Won't go any
faster than 80kmph

the catalytic converter may be plugged , have someone rev the motor and see if a healthy blast of exhaust comes out , scan for codes even if the light ain't on
