Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 rendezvous that is eating
alternators . The gauges will start to go on
and off, for a couple of hours and then
No more charging and it quits. 3
alternators in two months

Make sure you have a good battery and the wires from the altinator to the battery is not corroded, which will cause high resistance in the system and burn up the altinator
