I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with a bad motor
will the motor out of a 2002 Dodge Durango fit in
the truck, both of them are the 4.7

You can do this only if you change the reluctor tone ring on the crankshaft on the 2002 engine. The 2004 4.7L has a 32 tooth reluctor where as the 2002 4.7L has a 16 tooth reluctor tone ring. The crankshaft would have to come out to do this.
